Plagiarism Policy
GNJMR is committed to upholding the highest standards of academic integrity. Our plagiarism policy is designed to promote originality and proper attribution in all submissions. The key components of this policy include:
- Definition of Plagiarism: Plagiarism is defined as the use of another's work, ideas, or intellectual property without proper citation, presenting them as one’s own. This includes direct copying, paraphrasing without credit, and self-plagiarism.
- Prevention Measures: Authors are encouraged to utilize plagiarism detection tools prior to submission. GNJMR recommends thorough citation of all sources, including direct quotes, paraphrased ideas, and any data or visuals not originally created by the author.
- Review Process: All submitted manuscripts will undergo a plagiarism check using industry-standard software. Submissions with a plagiarism detection rate exceeding 15% may be returned to the author for revision.
- Consequences of Plagiarism: If plagiarism is identified post-publication, GNJMR reserves the right to retract the article and inform relevant institutions or funding bodies. Authors found in violation of this policy may be banned from future submissions.
- Education and Resources: GNJMR provides resources and guidance on proper citation practices and the importance of academic integrity. Authors are encouraged to familiarize themselves with these materials.
